Shanghai, China – 1935

With resistance against Japan, Shanghai is flourishing with powerful gangsters, business leaders and corrupt Government officials who are all entangled with each other’s quest for power and ultimate control of the French Commission in Shanghai. The pursuit of control sends our dangerous all star ensemble characters (Wang Zhiwen, Yu Nan, Li Liqun, and Xu Yajun) to eliminate one another in a series of cruel betrayals. The power game escalates to a finale that even the ringleaders of this carnage could not ever have expected.
