Paul Currie - Producer & Director

Paul Currie’s extensive entertainment industry experience includes producing and directing numerous feature films and TV series.  Early in his career Mr. Currie won the Screen Director’s Association Award of Australia for directing and producing the film, One Perfect Day. More recently, he directed the ABC TV series Twenty-Something, two acclaimed documentaries, Lionheart: The Jesse Martin Story and Every Heart Beats True: The Jim Stynes Story, the feature film 2:22, and live action sequences in the feature film Lego: Ninjago.

Mr. Currie served as producer on Mel Gibson's Academy Award winning film, Hacksaw Ridge, as well as on feature films 2:22, David Attenborough’s Great Barrier Reef, The Longest Shot and Under the Gun. He executive produced Rampart starring Woody Harrelson and Max Rose starring Jerry Lewis. Mr Currie’s vast international film production work includes production servicing on The Moon and the Sun starring Pierce Brosnan and Bleeding Steel starring Jackie Chan.
